Brent Millard is taking his fashions to the street.

The owner of Pink Chadelier is moving his fashion show and sale to Queen Street East on June 24.

Millard has previously set up shop at Delta Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront Hotel and Conference Centre and Quattro Suites and Conference Centre.

Pink Chandelier moved from Station Mall to Queen Street East in 2015.

Millard is teaming up with a neighbouring eatery, The Barrel House, for what's now dubbed as the first annual Queen Street Fashion Xtravaganza.

Queen Street will be closed between March and Spring for the evening event that starts at 7 p.m. Appetizers are served followed by 16 models donning the fashions of Dex, Nicki Bicki and Mavi.

Millard will have his business, and additional space at the former Sweet Greetings, open between 6 and 11 p.m.

He has invited other merchants along the block to extend their hours to coincide with the show and sale.

A portion of ticket sales will benefit Lung Association.

The event runs rain or shine. Five tents will be set up along Queen.

“Obviously (weather) is a little bit of a concern,” said Millard. “I've just been telling women, 'You know what? We're all Northerners here. Water isn't going to hurt us.'”

Millard is still keen to stage a fashion week at Roberta Bondar Pavilion “but I still feel like I'm not there yet.”

Tickets are on sale at Pink Chandelier and The Barrel House and include $20 in pink dollars for fashion purchases.See more at:simple formal dresses
