Criccieth couple to take part in new wedding show

Leila and Mark Evans, who live in Criccieth, will feature in the series Priodas Pum Mil on Sunday, 27 November, which sees them tying the knot in Capel Bethel in Borth y Gest.

Keeping an eye on all the arrangements, from choosing a wedding dress and suits, to baking a cake and picking a venue will be presenters Emma Walford and Trystan Elis-Morris.

When Leila, originally from Penrhyndeudraeth, saw a Facebook advert looking for couples to take part in the new S4C wedding series she fell in love with the idea.

She said: “We got engaged during Christmas last year, he asked me to marry him at his parents house. His mum and sister were earwigging by the door, they heard everything.

“And then we saw the advert for an upcoming wedding programme on S4C on Facebook. I applied to be on Priodas Pum Mil and Don’t tell the Bride and Don’t tell the Bride came back, but Mark didn’t fancy arranging our wedding all by himself. Our wedding would have been held on a football field if he had his way.”

Mark, 27, and Leila, 26, met at Ysgol Eifionydd and after being friends for a few years their love blossomed.Read more at:bridesmaid dresses australia | australian formal dresses
